Warranty Information
Our 5-Year Warranty
We stand behind our craftsmanship. If your jewelry has a manufacturing defect within 5 years of purchase, we'll make it right — by repairing it, replacing it, or issuing store credit, at our discretion.
This warranty covers defects in how your jewelry was made, not the normal wear, accidental damage, or natural aging that occurs when jewelry is worn and enjoyed.
By purchasing from Mint & Lily, you agree to our Terms of Service, which include important legal terms governing this warranty, dispute resolution, and limitations on liability.
What’s Covered
Manufacturing defects — issues that shouldn’t happen with properly made jewelry, including:
- Faulty clasps or closures caused by manufacturing flaws
- Chain links that fail under normal use without force
- Stone settings that fail due to improper assembly
If a defect is confirmed, we may repair the item, replace it with the same or a comparable product, or issue store credit.
What’s Not Covered
Normal Wear & Aging
All jewelry changes over time, just like shoes, leather goods, or watches.
This includes:
- Scratches, dents, or surface dulling
- Plating wear (gold, rose gold, or rhodium finishes naturally fade)
- Tarnishing or discoloration
- Chain stretching or material thinning
Damage & Misuse
- Bending, pulling, crushing, snagging, or impact damage
- Exposure to chemicals (perfumes, lotions, chlorine, cleaning products)
- Water exposure (showering, swimming, hot tubs)
- Improper storage or care
- Third-party repairs, resizing, or modifications
- Loss or theft
How to File a Claim
Email support@mintandlily.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue
- A brief description of what happened
We aim to review claims promptly. In some cases, we may request that the item be sent to us for inspection. Customers are responsible for shipping items to Mint & Lily; insured shipping with tracking is recommended.
Submitting a claim does not guarantee approval. All claims are evaluated based on this policy.
Fair Use Policy
To keep this warranty available and fair for everyone, Mint & Lily reserves the right to limit or deny coverage in cases that may include, but are not limited to:
- More than three (3) warranty claims within a twelve-month period
- Warranty claims involving more than fifty percent (50%) of total purchases
- Evidence of misuse, excessive wear, damage, or fraudulent activity
The Fine Print
- Remedy: Repair, replacement, or store credit only. No cash refunds.
- Legal terms: This warranty is subject to our Terms of Service, including dispute resolution, arbitration, class action waiver, and limitations of liability.
- Final authority: All warranty determinations are made by Mint & Lily in its sole discretion.
- State rights: This warranty does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
